Pro tip: Switching from paper to digital markups saved me 4 hours on a job in Atlanta
I used to print out every single drawing and use red pen markups for revisions. That changed after I messed up a set of HVAC plans on a 3-story commercial build in Atlanta last month, had to redo 12 pages because my handwriting was sloppy. Now I do all my redlines in Bluebeam on a tablet, and I can send the corrected file to the engineer in 5 minutes flat. Has anyone else made the swap and found a good workflow for keeping track of old versions?

And actually @mark_price that's exactly why I keep a cheap stylus in my truck now as backup. The battery thing is real but honestly the version tracking saves me more time than I lose from charging. I just name my files with the date and revision letter at the end, like "projectname_20241015_revC.pdf" so I always know which one is current. Saves a ton of headache when the GC asks for the latest set and I'm not digging through a pile of printed sheets hoping I grabbed the right one lol.

Funny you mention Atlanta, I was down there last month for a job and my tablet died halfway through the day. Had to borrow a laptop from the GC and ended up using the notes app on my phone like a caveman. Still better than digging for a red pen though.

Yeah I heard the new update messed up battery life for some people, did yours drain fast before it died?
