Just realized my hotel desk trick sparked a DIY win at home
On a trip to Rome, the hotel desk shook like crazy (so annoying, right?). I propped it up with a towel and loose change, which felt clever but was really dumb. Back home, my own desk did the same wobble, so I repeated the towel move. It totally flopped, and my coffee cup tipped over. That finally made me buy and install real adjustable legs, a simple job I'd put off for months. Now my desk is stable, and I smile at the memory. Sometimes a travel goof gives you the push to do things right.

Wait, was the wobble really that big a deal?

Actually yeah, it really is. A small wobble turns into a constant nag when you're trying to focus on something. That little shake messes with your typing and just gets in your head all day. It's one of those tiny things that slowly drives you nuts because it's always there. Fixing it feels so good because you stop fighting the furniture and can just work.

Nah, it absolutely is a big deal. That tiny shake ruins your typing flow and makes reading on screen a pain. It's not about the wobble itself, it's about how it breaks your focus every few seconds all day long. Once you fix it, you realize how much mental energy you were wasting.
