My dry erase marker exploded at my desk yesterday

I was doodling a little dragon on my whiteboard to-do list when the marker cap just popped off and blue ink went everywhere. It got all over my notes, my coffee mug, and even the keyboard. Took me 20 minutes with alcohol wipes to clean it up and the board still has a faint blue ghost. Anyone else had a marker blow up on them like that?

Oh man, three weeks ago I had a red Expo marker just give up on life mid-stroke. I was trying to label a bunch of folders and the whole barrel just cracked and ink squirted all over my hand and the stack of papers. It was like a crime scene, red everywhere. Took me forever to scrub it off my fingers and I still have a faint pink line on one folder that won't go away. I feel your pain, that faint ghost on the board is the worst part because you keep looking at it.
