One comment about my chili changed how I season everything now
My neighbor tasted my chili last fall and said it was fine but flat, then asked if I ever toast my dried chiles first. I tried it that weekend and now I do that plus grate a little dark chocolate in, and honestly I won't go back. Anyone else get a tiny tip from someone that flipped a whole dish for you?

Wait, you grate chocolate in your chili? Like actual chocolate chocolate? That sounds crazy enough I gotta try it this weekend.
