Walked through an AI art gallery downtown and felt totally out of my depth

I was visiting a pop-up gallery on Main Street last Saturday that was all AI generated digital art. Every piece had these wild intricate patterns and colors that looked impossible to make by hand. The artist description said each image took about 3 minutes to generate with specific prompts. Honestly it made me wonder where traditional digital painting fits in now. Has anyone else been to one of these shows and felt conflicted about the whole thing?

Used to dismiss AI art but that gallery completely shifted my perspective.

Yeah @the_simon I get that, seeing some actual AI galleries really does change how you look at it.

Used to be pretty skeptical of AI art honestly, just wrote it off as cheating or whatever. But seeing those pieces in person hit different (the detail was actually insane up close). Definitely made me rethink my whole stance on what counts as real creativity.
