Cropping tighter saved my whole portfolio process

I used to post full canvases and wonder why my pieces got scrolled past. Then I tried cropping to the focal point at like 75% zoom before uploading to the showcase here. It took 3 tries to get the framing right on my last portrait, but the engagement difference was night and day. Does anyone else crop way tighter than they originally paint, or do you keep the full bleed look?
