Overheard a guy at the pharmacy comparing coupon apps
Was waiting for my prescription at CVS on Main St. and heard this guy tell his friend he saved $38 last month just using two different drugstore apps. Never thought to stack those things. Downloaded a couple on my phone right there. Anyone else actually get real savings from those or is it mostly junk?

Honestly I've been doing that with three different apps for a while now and it adds up way more than you'd think. Tbh the key is just not buying stuff you don't need just because you have a coupon for it.

Lmao yeah that's literally me though. I have like 4 store apps and I told myself I was saving money buying all those "deals" on stuff I didn't even want. Found my pantry full of snacks I bought because they were BOGO and I don't even like them. Still haven't learned my lesson either 💀

The fine print on those apps usually lets them sell your shopping data to third parties. So you save $38 but your data gets packaged and sold for way more than that.
