Look, I did the math on this back in March when prices were going crazy. Bulk buying saves you about 15% on stuff like rice, beans, and toilet paper IF you have the storage space. But the KEY is knowing which items actually last - I learned that the hard way with a giant bag of avocados that rotted in my pantry. Weekly trips let you grab the meat and produce when it's actually on markdown, so you're not stuck with a whole chicken you paid full price for. For me it's a mix - I buy dry goods and cleaning supplies in bulk every 6 weeks, then do quick weekly runs for the fresh stuff. Saves me around $40 a month without filling my kitchen with expired food.
