Turns out I was priming my floors with the wrong roller for 9 years, and a 19 year old kid caught it
This kid on my crew pointed at my roller cover last Tuesday and asked why I was using a 3/8 nap on a concrete slab. I had been doing it that way since I went solo in 2015, just grabbed whatever was on the truck. He handed me a 1/4 inch one and the coat went down so much smoother I finished the basement in about 40 minutes less than normal. Funny how a habit can stick with you that long without anyone checking it. Any of you ever get schooled by someone half your age on something you thought you had down?
