My rescue cat's coat went from patchy to plush in 6 weeks on this new food

I switched her to a limited ingredient salmon diet after the vet suggested it, and the difference is honestly wild. Has anyone else had a pet's fur totally transform after a diet change?

...and what's wild is how fast it happens, right? My buddy's cat had this weird greasy looking fur, like it was dirty even right after a bath. He switched to a fish based food and within like two weeks the fur was completely normal again. Meanwhile my neighbor is still buying those expensive salmon oil supplements and her cat's coat still looks like straw, but she refuses to change the kibble she's been buying for ten years. People just get stuck in their routines I guess.

Dude @grace_gonzalez46 I spent 40 bucks on fancy shampoo before I figured out it was just my cooking that sucked. Guess my cat's fur was low key trying to tell me I'm a bad chef.

Right there with you. My dog had this sad, dull coat for months and I tried everything. Switched him to a duck and potato food and within a month his fur was so shiny and soft, total night and day difference. It's crazy what a real food change can do, I think a lot of people don't realize how much diet screws with their fur. Glad your cat's looking so good now.
