My dog lost his mind at the PetSmart in Reno and now I can't shop there
Took my beagle Rufus to the PetSmart on South Virginia in Reno last Saturday and he freaked out when the adoption folks brought out a litter of kittens. He pulled so hard he slipped his collar and ran straight into the grooming area, knocked over a bucket, and just stood there shaking. I got him back but my heart was pounding for 10 minutes. Now I'm scared to take him anywhere busy, so does anyone have tips for calming a dog around other animals, or should I just avoid pet stores for a bit?
