My cat's new puzzle feeder turned into a total mess this morning

I got this plastic puzzle feeder last month because everyone says they're great for slowing down fast eaters. This morning, my cat Jasper figured out he could just flip the whole thing over. He dumped a full cup of kibble all over the kitchen floor, then started batting the pieces around like hockey pucks. I had to clean it up while he just sat there looking proud of himself. Do you think some puzzle toys are just too easy for smart pets?

Man, Jasper's a genius! @rodriguez.felix, has he ever actually been stumped by a puzzle, or does he always find a loophole?

My friend Sarah had a similar thing happen with her border collie mix. She bought one of those treat balls you're supposed to roll around, but her dog just picked it up in her mouth, carried it to the top of the stairs, and dropped it. The ball bounced down, scattering treats everywhere, and the dog just waited at the bottom to eat them all. It proved some pets are too clever for simple puzzles. I guess we need to find ones that can't be beaten by pure strength or a simple flip.

Have you tried any puzzle feeders that actually managed to outsmart him?
