Worst doodle week ever turned into my best sketchbook habit
Last Tuesday I had three terrible drawings in a row, like a raccoon that wouldn't sit still and a coffee cup that looked like a potato. I almost gave up for the week, but I tried a tiny 5 minute warm-up of just circles and squiggles before each real sketch, and by Friday I made a dog that actually looked happy! That little routine saved my whole sketchbook vibe, even the messy pages felt better. Does anyone else do a quick warm-up before their main doodle, or do you just jump in cold?
