Spilled a whole bottle of ink across my sketchbook 2 days ago
It was a weird moment where I just sat there frozen watching it spread. Instead of tossing the book I let it dry and now I'm doodling over the stain with a white gel pen, weirdly like the results way more than what I had planned. Has anyone else turned a total fail into something they actually like?

Yo that's actually dope as hell. I love when mistakes turn into something better than what you planned. The white gel pen over dark ink sounds sick, like some kinda negative space art. Honestly half the time my best stuff comes from messing up. I never would have thought to try that but now I kinda wanna spill ink on purpose just to see what happens.

Reminds me of the time I was fixing a leaky pipe under my sink and accidentally put a hole in the drywall. Ended up cutting a square out, patching it clean. Looks way better than the old busted-up wall did. Sometimes you just gotta roll with it.

Wait actually gel pens over ink like that can smudge if you don't let the ink fully cure for a few days first, so maybe test a corner before going all in. But yeah I've definitely had moments where a random spill or tear forced me to think different and ended up making the piece way more interesting than my original plan. Sometimes the happy accidents really do hit different.
