Pro tip for left handed sketchers: flip your reference photo horizontally
I kept messing up the angle of my lines and couldn't figure out why. Turns out my brain was fighting the natural way I hold my pencil. Been flipping pics in my phone before drawing for a week now and my proportions actually look right. Anyone else southpaw notice this?
Tbh flipping it is the real trick, not shooting it backwards. I tried shooting references backwards a while back and it just made everything look off. Still, glad you found something that works for you though.
