Had a terrible doodle week until Wednesday's coffee shop sketch saved it

Idk if this happens to anyone else but last week I couldn't draw anything that didn't look like a mess. Monday I drew a cat that looked more like a blob with ears and Tuesday I gave up after five minutes. Then Wednesday I was at a coffee shop and did this quick sketch of a guy reading a newspaper and it just clicked somehow. Has anyone else had a week where nothing worked until one random doodle made up for all of it?

Not really, no. A bad drawing week is just a bad drawing week to me. I don't think one decent sketch magically makes up for a bunch of garbage ones.
