Pretty sure that 11 second number is way off, because it really depends on what kind of doodle we're talking about. A quick stick figure sketch on a napkin, yeah, that thing is gone in seconds flat, probably before you even close the drawer. But a really good doodle, like one you spent a whole meeting on, that can survive for months in there. I've got doodles from years ago still kicking around in my desk, they just end up buried under pens and old receipts. So the whole "average" thing is kind of misleading since some get tossed right away and others live forever. Feels like they should break it down by doodle type instead of lumping them all together like that.
