DAE weigh their coffee beans after a guy at a cafe in Denver told me my scoop was off by half
I always used the little plastic scoop that came with my maker and thought it was fine. He weighed 2 scoops on his scale in front of me and it came out to 19 grams instead of the 12 I thought I was using. Now I keep a cheap $12 kitchen scale on the counter and my pots stopped coming out bitter. Anyone else find their old measurements were way off?
