Looked up a regular customer's name, turns out she's a published novelist

Had this older lady come in to get a fence gate rehung last month, real quiet, always pays cash and leaves a tip. I was writing up the receipt and saw her full name on the card, so I did what you do and googled her. Turns out she wrote three mystery novels back in the 80s, one of them got adapted into a TV movie. I mentioned it when she came back for the final payment and she just laughed, said she barely makes enough off the royalties to cover her dog's food. It made me wonder how many of my customers have whole other lives I never see... has anyone else looked up a customer and found something that totally reframed how you saw them?
