That cheap remote case cost me a 2 hour shutdown in Tulsa
Bought a $25 nylon case for my remote off an online auction and the strap loop ripped mid-lift, dangling the transmitter over the load. I lost a full 2 hour window waiting for the safety guy to come re-certify everything. Has anyone else had a budget accessory fail in a way that made you eat the downtime?
Blame the cheap case all you want, but a $25 nylon loop holding a transmitter over a live load is on you, not the gear. Spending real money on a proper harness would've cost less than those two hours.
