Delivery truck got stuck at the site gate on Tuesday, cost me 4 hours
So the concrete truck for my Cedar Grove job showed up Tuesday morning and could NOT get through the gate because the dumpster guys dropped a 30 yard roll off right in the access lane the night before. Driver sat there for 40 mins then left for another pour. I called the hauler and got put on the next day's schedule at like 1pm, which meant the finishers were standing around half a day on my dime. Now I walk the gate path the morning of every pour and I told the dumpster company they pick a new spot or they eat the reschedule fee. How do you all handle other crews blocking your site access? Do you put it in the contract or just call and yell?
