Found a stat about fake moon landing believers that blew my mind

I was digging through Pew Research data last night (the 2023 one on science topics) and found out 7% of US adults actually buy the moon landing being faked. That's like 18 million people. I get being skeptical of big government stuff, but that number seems way too high for something with so much proof. Anyone else run into a belief stat that made you question the whole conversation?

It's wild what people will believe when they don't trust institutions. I just nod and change the subject when someone brings up stuff like that, no point arguing.
