Wasted $400 on a bad concrete sealer - don't make my mistake

I bought a cheap acrylic sealer from a big box store for a driveway job last month. Thought I was saving money, but after the first rain it looked all cloudy and peeled off in spots. Had to grind it all off and redo the whole thing, cost me two extra days and another $120 for a better sealer from a supply house. Anyone else had a sealer fail on them like this? What brand do you guys trust for residential jobs?

Nah I gotta disagree with this take. Cheap acrylics can work fine if you prep the surface right and don't cut corners on application. Sounds like you might have sealed over damp concrete or didn't scrub off the curing compound first. I've used that same big box store stuff on three driveways now and it's held up two years strong through snow and rain. The problem is usually user error not the product itself. People blame the sealer when they skip the etching step or put it on too thick.

Had my share of that with a batch of cheap wool yarn, pure breaking point.
