Vent: My last job required eco-friendly mix, and the client loved it, but my crew hated the workability.
Tbh, I get why we should reduce carbon footprint, but some sustainable mixes are a pain to finish. Ngl, the end result looked great, but was it worth the extra effort? Curious how you all handle this.

Honestly, is this worth venting about? So the mix is hard to work with, big deal. The end result looked great, and the client loved it. That's the whole point, right? Crews will always find something to hate. Focus on the outcome, not the hassle. Green building is the future, so get used to it.

You've clearly never had to clean that stuff out of a mixer, @the_cora.

Wait, did you just say the client loved it? That's the part that gets me. Every time we've used that new eco mix, the client complains about the finish a month later when it starts cracking. If they were actually happy with the long term look, that's a miracle. Usually the hassle just moves from the crew to the homeowner.
