Saw a 40 year old slab at a gas station in Amarillo and it still had a mirror finish
I stopped for gas in Amarillo last month and noticed the concrete out front looked almost new. The guy behind the counter said it was poured in 1984 and they have never resealed it. I ran my hand over it and there was no scaling, no spalling, nothing, just a tight troweled finish that took a shine from the pumps. Made me think about how much of my own stuff from 10 years ago already looks rough. What are you all using for exterior flatwork that has to sit in that West Texas heat and freeze thaw?
