PSA: Tried a new thermal paste application method on a gaming PC and it caused a 10 degree Celsius temp spike

After my own finger-painting disaster like @drew_bennett24, I just spread a thin, even layer with a card.

My last attempt at that looked like a toddler finger-painted the CPU.

Just dot in the middle and let the cooler spread it, worked way better for me than @elliotm70's method.
