The morning my bus driver waited 90 seconds for me at 7th and Main and it fixed my whole week
Ten years ago I used to sprint for the 6:45 bus and watch it pull away at least twice a week, but lately drivers seem to actually check the mirror before they go. Two Mondays back I was half a block out, coffee in one hand, bag slipping off my shoulder, and the driver just sat there with his blinker on while the cars behind him honked. He shrugged at them and said "we got time" when I climbed on, and then he waited for a lady with a cane at the next stop too. Now I get to work less stressed and I've started leaving two minutes earlier just to pay it forward. Anyone else noticed drivers easing up compared to how it used to be?
