Switched to a 5:15 AM bus to beat traffic and it backfired

My boss said the early bus was empty and fast, so I tried it last Tuesday from my place in Springfield. Turns out the 5:15 is the main bus for all the hospital shift workers, so it was packed and we hit every single red light on the route. Does anyone know a good time after 6 AM that isn't a total zoo?

I mean, Elliot's buddy must have gotten lucky. The 6:30 is usually when the office crowd starts piling on. I've found the sweet spot is actually between 6:50 and 7:10. It's after the main hospital rush but before the downtown 9-to-5 crush really hits.

My own track record with the 6:30 is a solid zero for three. Every single time I've tried it, it's been standing room only by the third stop. Paul286 might be onto something with that 6:50 idea. I clearly don't have the magic touch for catching the empty one. I'm starting to believe my presence alone summons the morning rush.

My buddy tried the 6:30 once, said it was weirdly empty.
