Honestly, I was at this new roaster in Boise and they had a grinder I'd never seen before, a Mahlkonig X54

The barista let me try grinding some beans with it. The grind was so even compared to my cheap one at home. It's way out of my budget, but now I'm wondering if saving up for a better grinder is the next real upgrade. Anyone have a good mid-range grinder they'd recommend instead?

Why chase a perfect grind when your old one makes coffee just fine?
