Realized my first script was just me copying stack overflow for 2 weeks
Last month I looked back at a Python script I wrote 3 years ago when I first started learning. I thought I was coding, but really I had just pasted chunks from Stack Overflow and tweaked variable names until it ran. It hit me when I tried to add one new feature and had zero clue how the pieces fit together. That forced me to actually learn functions and loops from the ground up, not just copy answers. Did anyone else hit that wall where you finally understood your own old code was fake?
