Tried those 'biodegradable' trash bags for 3 months and they fell apart in my bin every time

I bought a 60 pack from a local eco shop in Austin thinking I was doing the right thing. By week two, the bottoms were splitting just from fruit peels and coffee grounds. I learned that 'biodegradable' doesn't mean tough enough for kitchen waste unless you compost separately. Has anyone found a brand that actually holds up without shredding?

Those problems are really on you for not checking the bag requirements. Read the label next time and you won't have anything to complain about.
