Vent: the $600 vacuum sealer I bought for sous vide was a total waste

Used it maybe 4 times before the seal bar quit on me mid-shift, and my old $40 hand pump does the same job just fine, so has anyone found a chamber sealer that actually holds up in a busy kitchen?
