Hot take: bringing a busted grill to the block party is worse than bringing nothing at all
My 4 year old Weber gave out on me 2 Saturdays ago, the igniter clicked but the burners would not light, and I stood there in my driveway for 40 minutes with a lighter and a prayer before giving up. So the question is, do you show up to a cookout empty handed and just eat other people food, or do you drag the dead grill over and hope somebody can fix it on the spot? I did the second one and my buddy Rick had it going in 10 minutes, so now I look like the guy who cannot run his own stuff. What is the move here, honestly?
