DAE have their Chatter Lounge chat break and lose a 6 month streak because of a power flicker?
So last Thursday night around 11pm I was on hour three of a really good chat in the Lounge, we had like 12 people going back and forth about nothing in particular, and my apartment building did that thing where the lights blink twice and everything resets. Lost the whole thing. My router, my phone, my laptop all died at once and by the time I got back online my streak was showing zero and the Lounge was empty. Six months of showing up every single night, gone because of a half second flicker. I sat there for a minute just staring at the login screen feeling dumb. Ended up plugging my router into a cheap battery backup I had in a drawer from 2021, and yeah I know that is basic stuff but I never bothered before. Now I am back to day 3 and honestly it stings less than I thought it would. Anyone else here keep a streak going and get wrecked by something out of your control, and did you bother rebuilding it or just let it go?
