Found out my neighbor has been watering my garden for 2 months by accident
I was grabbing my mail last Tuesday and saw a hose running from her house to my tomato patch. It turns out she thought I was out of town and just decided to help, but she had the wrong house. Has anyone else had a random act of kindness turn into a funny misunderstanding?

Wait, is this really a bad thing? Sounds like she did you a favor, not a misunderstanding. Free watering for two months means your tomatoes got consistent care and probably look great. Nobody forced her to do it, she chose to help. Maybe you should thank her instead of calling it funny. A little gratitude goes a long way in this world.

Wait, but isn't there a difference between helping and steamrolling someone's garden? I mean, the neighbor didn't ask first, she just took over like she owned the place. If someone watered my tomatoes for two months without checking in, I'd be worried they messed with my soil or overwatered and caused root rot, not grateful. Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather have a quick text saying "hey, your plants look dry" than someone deciding my watering schedule for me.

Actually my tomatoes have never looked better and I'd trade a little soil tweaking for free help any day.
