Had a seam blow out on a big job in a Scottsdale hotel lobby... the heat from the sun coming through the windows was unreal.

My own seams would have popped just from the stress of seeing that.

Seams popping is the least of it. The whole thing looked ready to explode.

What gets me is the AC fighting that direct sun. The lobby is probably kept ice cold, but the fabric right on the glass is baking. That wild temperature swing, hot to cold over and over, has to weaken the thread way faster than just heat alone.
