Found a quicker way to set cabinet reveals without measuring each door

I used to measure every single door gap with a tape, wasting an hour per kitchen. Then an old timer showed me to cut a set of spacers from scrap plywood at 1/8 inch and just shove them in as I hang. Anyone else use spacers or do you still measure each one?

Yeah, I stack a couple 1/16" shims together for the bottom gaps too when the floor's uneven.

Yeah but hold on @elliot_johnson31, I actually see it the other way. Stacking shims like that can get real messy if you're not careful, I've had them shift around on me mid-install and throw everything off. For uneven floors I'd rather use a self-leveling compound first to sort the big dips, then maybe one shim if there's a tiny gap left. Stacking three or four 1/16ths feels like a bandaid that's gonna wiggle loose over time. Just my two cents though, different strokes for different folks.

Can't believe I never thought of that @charliestone, you're a genius with those shims!
