Switched from canned air to a rocket blower for sensor cleaning

I used to go through a can of compressed air every few weeks cleaning sensors, but the cost added up fast. About six months ago I picked up a Giottos rocket blower for like $8 and it does the job just as well without the waste. Has anyone else made the switch from canned air to something reusable?

@wendy391 I had the same worry about just moving dust around when I first got my rocket blower. But honestly, once I figured out the right angle and gave it a good couple of firm squeezes, it actually pushed the dust right off the sensor and out of the camera. I think the key is holding the camera body with the mount facing down, so gravity helps the loose dust fall out instead of settling back inside. The Giottos one I got has a sort of one-way valve that keeps it from sucking dust back in, which probably helps a lot compared to cheaper bulbs. Took a little practice, but now I wouldn't go back to canned air.

Wait isn't that thing basically a bulb? My friend tried one of those and ended up just blowing dust around inside her camera instead of actually getting it out.

Works fine if you actually buy a decent one instead of the cheap junk.
