TIL I've been stripping coax with the wrong blade angle for years

I was helping a new guy in Toledo last week and he asked why my stripper was leaving tiny nicks in the center conductor. I was using the 45-degree slot, but he showed me the 90-degree one is actually for our quad-shield RG6. Have any of you ever gotten that backwards, or is it just me?

Heard a tech say the same thing on a training video last month. Totally blew my mind too.

Yeah, "blew my mind" is right. My buddy had the same reaction as @alex307 after he watched it, he was just staring at his phone for a solid minute. Couldn't stop talking about it all weekend.
