Finally got the hang of sharpening my own chisels after 15 years

I was at a furniture show in Grand Rapids last fall and watched a guy from Lie-Nielsen demo it in about 10 minutes. Now I can get a mirror edge in under 5 minutes instead of sending them out for $8 each.

Man, that feeling is pure magic. Nothing compares to the sound and that little tingle when you hit it just right. It makes all the time spent learning the angles totally worth it. Even now, after years of doing this, it still gives me a little rush.
