My old planner had 15 blank pages by March, my cheap notebook has zero since January
I quit buying dated planners because I would skip a day, feel guilty, and then abandon the book entirely. Switching to a plain dotted notebook with just a running daily list and a two-page monthly log means a missed day costs nothing, since I just keep writing on the next line. Has anyone else made this switch, and did you keep any kind of future log or drop it too?
I listened to a podcast where a guy said dated planners actually set you up to fail because the guilt over blank pages makes you quit. He switched to an undated one and just writes the date at the top of each entry. As for a future log, he dropped his and now just keeps a single sticky note for anything more than a week out. Seems to work fine for him since he is not flipping around looking for the right page.
