That $200 adjustable speed square seemed smart, total waste
Bought one of those fancy digital speed squares with the built in level and angle lock. Thought it would speed up my framing layout. Nope. The battery died on day three at a job in Tacoma. Back to my $12 classic square and it just works. The digital readout lagged anyway when I was moving fast. Paid $200 for a gadget that sits in my bag now. Anyone else blow cash on upgraded tools that just made things slower?
