Hot take: I was framing my shed walls wrong for 3 whole months
So I've been building this 12x16 shed in my backyard since March, and last weekend a buddy who does framing for a living stopped by. He looked at my studs and just goes 'why are your headers only on one side of the opening?' Turns out I'd been putting single jack studs under every window and door header instead of doubling them up like you're supposed to. I pulled the plans back out and sure enough the little diagram showed two studs and I just never looked close enough. Anyone else catch a basic mistake like this way too late?
