Almost wired a whole panel hot in a garage in Tulsa and my hand is still shaking
Was roughing in a subpanel last Thursday for a buddy's shop in Tulsa. Got the feeders landed, went to grab the last breaker, and my screwdriver arced off the bus bar. Turns out I never killed the main, I just flipped the breaker I thought fed the panel. Sat in my truck for 10 minutes after to breathe. Now I test with a meter at the lug every single time, no exceptions. What's your check before you touch the bus?
