Had my doubts about frozen veggies but they won me over

I was a fresh veggie snob for years. Frozen seemed lazy. Then I found a bag of mixed peppers and onions for $1.50 at Aldi. Threw them in a skillet with some eggs and it was just as good as fresh. Way cheaper too. Anyone else change their mind on something you thought was inferior?

Oh yeah, I was 'fresh or nothing' for years. Then I got really lazy one winter and bought a bag of frozen broccoli. I totally burned it in the oven, like blackened it, and my family called it 'broccoli jerky.' But honestly it was still good, especially with some cheese on top. Now I'm that person who has a whole section of the freezer dedicated to frozen veggies. I used to think I was some kind of cooking pro but really I was just making things harder for myself.

My freezer section is like 60 percent frozen veggies now. I mean they're just so convenient and honestly taste fine in most things. Maybe it's not fancy but it gets the job done.
