Can we settle this: is a $1.50 bag of dried beans really cheaper than the $1 canned ones?
A coworker told me last week that dried beans are always the better buy, but by the time I soak them overnight and cook them for an hour and a half, I feel like I'm paying in time instead of cash. For 79 cents a can at Aldi I can have beans ready in 3 minutes, so which way do you all lean when you're feeding a family on a tight budget?
