Vent: Found out my 'budget friendly' meal prep was actually costing me more
So I been tracking my grocery receipts for the last 6 months cause I thought I was saving big by buying bulk at Costco. Turns out I was spending an extra $40 a month on stuff that went bad before I could eat it. The real kicker came when I added up all those $5 rotisserie chickens I bought just cause they were 'cheap' but then threw half away. Found the stat on a budgeting spreadsheet I made after watching a YouTube video from a girl who breaks down food waste costs. Honestly feels like I been fooling myself this whole time. Has anyone else realized their 'budget' system was actually bleeding money somewhere obvious?

Ugh, the bulk rotisserie chickens are such a trap, I feel your pain on that one.

Wait @johnson.faith, aren't those chickens a solid deal if you strip em for meal prep?
