okay so I was actually reading something the other day about how these liquidation places get their stuff, and it's way more random than people think. like sometimes it's returns from big online stores where people just changed their minds, not necessarily broken junk. I've heard of people finding brand name tools and kitchen stuff that's still in the original packaging. sounds like you got lucky with whatever you grabbed, but it's nice when a gamble actually pays off.

Oh, you mean those places aren't just a dumping ground for everyone's broken dreams and one sock missing from the dryer? Yeah, I've seen guys walk out with stuff that looked like it was barely used, then there's me holding a blender that sounds like it's trying to start a lawnmower. But hey, that's the fun of it right? You either get a $500 drill for twenty bucks or a box of mismatched Tupperware lids that someone rage returned after a bad lunch. I swear half the time I think it's just people cleaning out their garages and hoping they get a tax write off.
