Home iced coffee vs. drive-thru: the $3.50 difference I didn't expect

So I've been getting Starbucks iced coffee on my lunch break for months, spending like $5 each time. Last week I decided to try making my own at home using a $12 cold brew pitcher from Target. I steeped it for 18 hours, added some oat milk, and honestly it tasted way better and saved me money by day 3. Has anyone else switched to homemade coffee and noticed a real difference in how your morning feels?

...so my buddy Dave tried this exact thing. He bought one of those mason jar cold brew systems and was all about it for like a week. Tbh he got lazy with the cleaning part and ended up with this weird slimy residue in the jar after like the third batch. He went back to drive-thru real quick after that. Ngl the convenience factor is real if you're not a morning person.

Scott might be right about the cleaning thing, but I actually found the opposite with cold brew. @scott.miles I think the trick is to rinse the jar right after you pour it out so nothing has time to get gross.

Wow, @norab21 do you think the cold brew method actually saves time compared to drive-thru overall?
