Spent $120 on a custom insert for my game shelf and it was worth every penny
I have a shelf full of board games that used to be a total mess. Boxes were sliding around, lid lifts were happening, and I was always scared something got crushed. Last month I dropped $120 on a custom foam insert for my Arkham Horror collection. It fits the box perfectly and keeps everything in its own spot. No more army men rolling around or cards getting bent. It sounds dumb but opening that box now feels like opening a well-organized toolbox. Has anyone else shelled out for these inserts or am I just crazy?

Totally agree with you. That first time you open a perfectly organized box is pure satisfaction. I did the same for my Scythe collection and it stopped my pieces from getting scratched up. No more hunting for lost tokens under the couch. Best money I ever spent on storage.

Does anyone actually track how much time they save with these? I timed myself before and after getting inserts for Castles of Burgundy. Used to spend about 7 minutes sorting components after each game. Now it's closer to 30 seconds. That adds up to like 13 hours a year for my group. Nobody ever talks about the math on that.
